After they snap a few pictures with the beautifully bleak backdrop of dead trees and industrial smoke stacks, they go back to the tour van. Weird, right? Well apparently not weird enough for her to say anything. One of the girls takes a picture and something odd can be seen in a window.
They see an abandoned ferris wheel, they explore the empty buildings, they see the remains of dead animals - it sets up an effectively creepy atmosphere. It sets up with a group of friends touring Europe and one of them has the bright idea to go on an "extreme tour" so they make a quick pit stop at Chernobyl. The vacant radiation-laden Chernobyl is a wonderfully creepy place for a horror movie to take place. Soon they discover that they are stranded, no one knows they are there and that they are definitely not alone. However, the van won't start and they discover the engine was sabotaged. Uri becomes nervous and decides it's time to head home. The group spends the day taking photographs and exploring abandoned buildings. Not giving up, Uri finds an alternative route to the town. They travel by van, but are stopped by a military checkpoint that makes them turn back. Uri explains that because of the radiation levels he can only take them to Pripyat, a deserted city very near Chernobyl. They meet the guide Uri and another couple who are also going on the tour. Chris wants to travel to Moscow to propose to Natalie, but Paul convinces the group to first visit Chernobyl with an extreme tourism guide. They meet up with Chris' brother Paul living in Kyiv, Ukraine. 7/10 stars by me.Americans Chris, his girlfriend Natalie and their friend Amanda travel to Europe on vacation. Go for it, and don’t watch it as a movie watch it as Azhar’s real life story, movies like this comes very rarely. Thanks to Balaji Production for making this film so that we realise some unknown facts about our Azhar. We love you ‘Fighter Azharuddin’ forever. Tony crafted film very well, especially Interval and Climax scene.įinal Words :- Overall a good movie which deserved your one time watch for many reasons. Direction is very good, surpassed my expectations. I don’t want to spoil much cause it will affect the impact of those dialogues.ĭirection :- First of all i want to praise Tony D’Souza for daring to make controversial film like this and want to thank him for revealing some truths about Azharuddin. 2-3 loo breaks are there but still Film doesn’t make you feel bore.ĭialogues :- Superb ! Clap worthy, whistle worthy and touching. Many scenes and especially songs deserves cut. Good because of 130 minutes run time, and not great because editing could have been better. Really some scenes looks like daily soaps, especially Cricket match scenes.
Same with Background Music.Ĭinematography :- Worse. They didn’t have much screen space, may be that was the reason but really their Make up talks louder than their Acting. Prachi Desai, Nargis Fakhri and Lara Dutta failed to match Emran. Not award winning though, but still Kudos for him. His walking Style, Batting style, Dialogue delivery everything was perfect. I haven’t seen his some acting oriented movies so i cant decide but still i say it is his Best Performance i’ve ever seen. Finally watched the Film and i am completely satisfied with this product, it completed all my expectations which were not high.Īcting- Excellent job by Emran Hashmi.
